Google Announced It is expanding AI overview to show more Google lens results including more novels or unique images. It is still showing only on one of the most discoveries, but now even more when Google first added AI overview to Google Lens in May 2024.
In addition, Google is also adding a new lens feature for iOS in its Chrome app and Google App that lets you choose and find what is on your screen with a simple gesture.

Chrome on iOS and lens on Google App. Now that you are on screen on the Chrome or Google App, you can ask Google Lens what you are looking at. To get more details, you can do this by drawing, highlighting or tapping on the screen.

- To start on iOS in Chrome or Google App, open a three-dot menu and choose “Search Screen with Google Lens” or “Find this screen” respectively. Then, select what you want to find to choose whatever the use of the gesture comes naturally.
